Dean Sperling Rock God of the Law

Dean Sperling received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975 from Claremont McKenna College, graduating Cum Laude with departmental honors in history. In 1978, he received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles, and was admitted to the State Bar of California. He is also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, all Federal District Courts in California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Commercial, Business Bankruptcy, and Probate Sections of the Orange County Bar Association.

Experience

Mr. Sperling has handled numerous litigation matters throughout the State of California in the Superior and Bankruptcy Courts. From 1979 to 1988, during his association with the Law Offices of David B. Bloom in Los Angeles, his practice included plaintiff and defendant business litigation for clients such as Farmers Insurance Group, Highlands Insurance Group, Matsushita Electric Corporation (Panasonic), Clarion Corporation, Raichle Molitar, Marathon Bank, and Intercontinental Financial Services.

After moving to Orange County, from 1988 through the present, Mr. Sperling performed litigation services for the Irvine Company, PM Realty Advisors, Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company, The Day Company, Sunwest Asset Management Corporation, Survivair (a division of Comasec), American Stores Properties, Inc., and Norris, Begs & Simpson.

Mr. Sperling has been a lecturer for Lorman Educational Systems and the National Business Institute regarding the topics of collection in California, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights.
